History 

Cape Town's history dates back to 1652 when it was established by the Dutch East India Company as a refreshment station for ships traveling to the East. Over the centuries, Cape Town grew into a major port and trading hub.Today, Cape Town is a symbol of resilience and cultural diversity. 

Climate 

Cape Town experiences a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The average annual temperature is around 16.5°C. Summers, from December to February, can reach up to 29°C, while winters, from June to August, can drop to around 7°C. The city receives most of its rainfall during the winter months, with June being the wettest month.
